Heartwood Preserve, a vibrant community gathering space and outdoor destination in West Omaha, has announced its Heartwood Waterpark, each Saturday and Sunday in August. Beat the heat as Heartwood Park turns into a splash-filled playground. Massive water slides, inflatable obstacle courses and refreshing frozen treats make the park a cool escape for kids and adults alike. Bring your swimsuit, gather your friends and enjoy an afternoon of summer fun followed by food trucks and drinks. The Heartwood Preserve Kite Festival at Heartwood Park will feature Great American Kites, where the sky becomes the show! The event is Oct. 17-18 from 11 am to 4 pm. What to Expect: • Giant incredible kites soaring overhead • Food trucks, family games, & activities • A vibrant, colorful, high-flying celebration of community and joy This isn’t just a day at the park, it’s a sky-high, feel-good experience for all ages.
